Hi Lyanba,

If you have a paid account, I'd suggest sending a Support ticket through so that we can take a look at this. If you're on a Free account, you can post on the forum instead, but a copy of the code will be required.

Thanks,

I'm trying to add a Wibiya toolbar to my Moonfruit site but it's not working very well. Wibiya says to copy and paste the generated code into your HTML template before the </body> tag. Obvius Moonfruit doesn't work like this so I tried pasting in to a HTML snippet but that doesn't work propoerly. Please ca you provide more information on how I can add this to my Moonfruit site and blog.
Thanks

Hi all,

Jan: As Joe stated in his post, we're currently aiming at the end of the summer. At this stage, I'm afraid we can't be more specific.

Rich: Sorry that you were missed there. We're planning on shipping an improved way of managing your mobile content within the next 8 weeks.

TechDave: We do tend to run a short beta program before major releases such as this, so it's fairly likely. I'd suggest keeping an eye on our Facebook page, as this is where we usually recruit.

Todd: It will always depend on the browser, but pure HTML of any version is usually a bit faster to load than the equivalent in Flash.

Taren: As above, we're currently aiming at Q3 this year. When it happens, existing sites will be able to opt in without the need to rebuild.

HTH,

Fantastic! I have been planning a plan like this for the last 6 months, this is fantastic work, well done Moonfruit. Actually, I am using the case study of my friend who is actually a big time gang member in London. I'm his flat mate. He has a fantastically trained Rottweiler. When I speak with him he is always polite. We went to the park and we walked with the Rottweiler without a lead. The dog was trained perfectly! When I spoke to him more, I found out it has always been his dream to be a police dog trainer, plus he used to teach the police how to box! Now I am creating a website and business, and he is leaving the 'gang' culture and working hard to accomplish his dream! I have similar situations for 6 other people. Believe me Moonfruit if there is anything I can do to help the cause please do let me know!
Warm Regards
Sean

Hi guys,

I'd like to address some of the concerns raised above. Come Q3 we will be providing an option to publish your site in HTML5. The editing environment will remain the same and customers will continue to edit in the Flash for the foreseeable future, we will simply offer an option to publish in Flash or HTML5.

To create the HTML5 version we have to make sure that any object we have in Flash has an equivalent in HTML5 which looks the same. For your own uploaded SWF files, we won't be able to create HTML equivalents as we didn't create the SWF ourselves so can't control how its built. We will investigate the option of allowing SWFs to be embedded in the HTML5 version (a reverse of how the HTML widgets currently work), but these will still not display on tablets as they don't support Flash. If you do rely heavily on SWF files in your site, you can still use the Flash version of your site with us and you'll be unaffected by the changes.

We will of course update customers along the way with our progress, especially if we have an example or demo to share - but that's a way off yet.

HTH

Walt

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compar...

http://tumultco.com/hype/gallery/

"It obviously takes time for tooling for HTML5 to get on the market, however Adobe has released a first version of a Flash to HTML5 conversion tool for existing content and are working on creating new tooling for HTML5 as well, like Adobe Edge.
Because HTML5 is an open format (like SWF) any toolmaker can build them, the first ones like Hype are already on the market"

I've got some idea now. I will be creating a few blank flash websites before the cut off point and hope I can still upload swf files and modify and display in flash as an option, while figuring out what I can achieve in html5.

I don't need my sites to run on tablets and mobiles.
