I don't mind the new tool bar, but I am having major trouble with the text. It leaves a copy of the text behind the one that you altering making it impossible to see what you are doing. You have to change pages and save what you have done to go back to the page to see your amendment.... this is MENTAL and making my life VERY difficult... I presume there is a BUG?? Please sort this out as its making what was an easy task of altering copy into a real pain...

Hi Ionut,

Sorry for the delay you're post got swept up into our spam filter with a bunch of posts for mortgage loans and handbags. I believe one of the Support Team have already been speaking to you via email about this. As I understand it you've been using Opera which not a browser we currently support.

As long as run IE, FF or Chrome with the latest Flash you shouldn't have any issues with the new toolbar.

please guy´s pleaseee, anyone help meee ! i want to switch to the old toolbar ( advanced ), because the new toolbar it´s not working, i mean when i press insert only work the basic objects, the image tools, shapes, Audio / Video.... non of these option work, i cannot update my website because of thiss... i want the old toolbar menu again, the advanced view toolbar, how the hell could i get it back cuz i dont see any option... any staff from moonfruit help me... i got members on my website that waiting for updates and i couldn´t update my site...

Hi Michelle,

No there isn't an existing problem where images or move or just disappear. Can you tell us if you are removing images from the File Manager once placed on the page? Or does anyone else have access to your site or account?

Any details on the site, the images that have gone missing would be a big help to work out what might be going on.

Hi can anyone help me? My images keep disappearing. At first they were just moving now thay have completely gone. Each time I look more and more are going. Is this a problem that will be on going? If so please let me know so I will have time to make a new website. It needs to be finished by the end of the month. I have sent 2 emails to the support team about this and they haven't replied.

What browser, Flash Player and system (PC/Mac) are you using?

I am curious though, do you get the " symbol instead? If so then a quick fix is using Shift+2 but let us know the technical details above and what you do get.

Yes sorry about that, your previous post slipped through the net. I did reply today but I'll repeat the comment here.

At present, no this isn't possible. Adding javascript to the underlying HTML isn't possible as we provide a field within the software that allows the inserting of the Analytics Code. We then publish that code into the HTML so your request would require a fundamental change to the Software to add an additional field which at present just isn't possible.

To be honest though, we would hope that the number of visitors you get are sufficient in number that your own visits (when editing) really aren't that significant.

I want to exclude my internal traffic from Google Analytics reports by Cookie Content (for dynamic IP addresses)

Google state:
To exclude traffic by Cookie Content
Note: This is an advanced alternative to the previous method.
To exclude traffic from dynamic IP addresses, you can use a JavaScript function to set a cookie on your internal computers. You'll then be able to filter all visitors with this cookies from appearing on your Analytics reports.
How to exclude traffic by cookie:
1. Create a new page on your domain, containing the following code:
<body onLoad="javascript:pageTracker._setVar('test_value');">
(Please note that this code is in addition to the Google Analytics tracking code that you have on every page of your website.)
2. In order to set the cookie, visit your newly created page from all computers that you would like to exclude from your reports.

to create a filter with the following settings:

Hi Justin,

We are putting the finishing touches (and testing) on a release due out in the next few weeks. Joe will provide more details shortly once we have a clear release date. We obviously want to ensure we test solidly to eliminate as many bugs as possible.

With regards my post in February, it was true at the time. I had full expectation that we could fix it quickly and get it out. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. My apologies if I got your hopes up. I've have noted your comments on our bug log and will see what we can do.

Things seem very quiet at MF HQ in relation to your next release. I am sure I would not be alone in saying that it seems that we have been waiting for what seems like an eternity.

I am particularly interested as back at the beginning of Feb you said you would be including the fix for the Site Title limitation of 50 characters:

That was nearly five months ago so your reassuring words back then of “with luck it won't take long to fix” seem a little hollow now.

Any comments or news on the release would be appreciated and no doubt not just by me.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll pass it to the team. We have experimented with this, but it can be tricky, as keeping the site in the same place (centred) with the sidebar coming in and out will only be possible based on the side width and browser size. So for certain users it will always have to move. But I'll investigate further. Thanks,

Hi Joe - The main reason I have not moved over to the new toolbar so far is it being off-centre. As you know I work full time managing my clients sites so I just can't be flicking back and forth with 'view my site'. So even if the side toolbar is out, it would be good if the site still centres itself with the space thats left.

can you try and make the screen size viewing a little bit smaller on the screen when all toolbars are open cause its hard to see all of the website when designing it

OK - now I'm very confused. I have returned to editing my site after about 6 weeks to find these changes. Or rather one change. I do not have a toolbar - sticky or otherwise anywhere on my site, hence I can do no editing other than with the floating editing box. My site takes an eternity to load and I am beginning to rue the hours I have already spent composing my site. I can simply log in and feel frustrated. I am probably being stupid and would like a push in the right direction....

It's unlikely that Graphic fonts will be linkable. But there is a work-around. Just drop a shape or image map over the word you want linked, make it transparent and then insert your link into the Link tab for the shape/image map.

It will certainly achieve the same thing.

Ok, I answered my question - I'm using a Graphic font, which can not be hyper linked via the
text tool bar. Stardard fonts can be hyper linked.

Hi Joe,

In the page master mode I'm trying to do a body text hyper link - however in the page master mode the minimal text editing tool bar is available, not the full text exiting tool that includes adding a outgoing hyperlink/email link. Is this a bug? I cant create a simple hyperlinked text in page master mode?
