I'm trying to intergrate a Payapal "Buy a gift voucher" into my website, but when I go to view my web site and test it out all I get is this:

This content cannot be displayed in a frame

To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame.

All other buttons work A ok.
Can anyone offer any help?

For future reference then and others that may have simular problems:

In my case there were 2 issues stopping the buttons from working:

1) Adding symbols to text that paypal wont recognise and possibly making the text too long (In button options fields)

2) The requirement it seems to add:

target ="paypal"

to paypal buttons for moonfruit sites.

Yes thanks so much, Your support has been great on this issue form both yourself and Gary who sent me an email.

Its seems that it was something to do with the text I was inserting into the buttons, it was possibly too long and also I was using + / = / £ signs that may have confused paypal.

I think I should be able to get them working now, cheers : )

Hi Adam,

One the Support team was about to reply. We did find that by messing about with your text - shortening United Kingdom to UK, did work on our test system. We aren't sure if it was the character length of the string or something else but in principle what you used should work.

So we used your code and proved the failure. Shortened it up and it worked. Anyway, explanation on the way.

But normally we include the tag: target ="paypal"

by George I think ive got it : )

after much messing around I discovered that Walts original solution did indeed work

add the following code exactly to first line:

target="_parent"

e.g. <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webs..." target="_new">

Hi there, the site is filotrax.moonfruit.com

I also have recorddividers.com assigned to the webpage (domain purchased from yourselfs and added as the main adress) I also have another domain adress pointing to the site.

cookies are enabled, if you click on any of the buy now buttons they dont work. (get a paypal error message)

Hi Adam, have you contacted support on this issue. That way we'll get more information on your Browser/version, and system set up.

It would also have been useful to know what site you're having problems with so we can see if you've set up your domain correctly. If you use Masked Forwarding rather than pointing your domain then PayPal will refuse to work. And sometimes browser settings can cause havoc if Cookies aren't enabled.

So letting us know site, page and buttons will help Support check your site and settings and advise a solution.

Im also having trouble with using paypal buttons.
Ive tried changing the html to open a new page but still says 'PayPal cannot process this transaction because of a problem with the seller's website. Please contact the seller directly to resolve this problem'

its really annoying - please help

i am having an issue with the paypal widget displaying on internet explorer. it works fine with google chrome, firefox, and safari but for some reason it is not visible if you're browsing the page in explorer. any tips to help resolve this issue?

Hi Luke,

The Flash sits within a container on the HTML page. If you zoom the browser, the Flash container won't zoom with it as it's independent. The two are different: one sits within the other so Zooming your browser - if that's what you mean - simply won't work on our sites as you'd hope.

Please take a look at my website, when you click the link it will take you direct to my website as dont want the link posted as getting a load of cold calls from 3rd parties.

The problem is, is that i am adding html code to the website for extra menu's and if your viewing the website with the browser set to 100% its fine. But if you zoom in it changes, the html moves and covers text and pictures.

Try adding one tag at the end of the first line:
target="_parent"
or
target="_new"

e.g. <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webs..." target="_new">

That should fix your Fatal Error problem.
