Have found these release notes only today!, though found the great new form a couple of weeks ago. How do I make sure i am notified of new releases? Also, I have one query about forms, databases, etc. - why no £ sign? Any chance this could be resolved?

Hi Alan,

SiteMaker Software is distributed through our own website, Moonfruit as well as numerous 'reseller' websites like Webeden.

Google Verify is enabled through the SiteMaker software and is independent of the websites they are distributed through. So, you can set up Verify on Moonfruit, Webeden or any other reseller) and Sitemap is automatically generated for all sites.

As for the forum, you are more than welcome to visit and comment.

We're not sure what you mean by 'blocks'. Can you please submit a query, if you haven't already done so, and detail specifically what you mean, on what page or pages this occurs and any other relevant information. We will then try to respond as quickly as we can.

Hi John,

Ignore the tabs with regards to the Form name. Double click the widget and you will get a small 'title' box appear at the top of the widget i.e. Advanced Form. If you double click in this box, you can then edit the name of the form. Once you click away, the name will be saved to the Editor and you will see the new name in the 'Object name' drop down on the 'Info' tab.

This will then be published in your emails.

Hi phoenixwolf,

This is a much discussed topic. SiteMaker is made in Flash, which is what allows it to be so easy to use, with true drag and drop and point and click editing. Because Flash cannot include HTML inside it, we cannot allow you to add HTML directly into your site, though we can sometimes build specific widgets that do certain functions that mimic the behaviour you would like. I hope that makes sense,

Yay you got more updates though i would prefer sometime if you had a widget that allowed users to use their own html without having to wait for a specific widget to be made.

hey Walt,

when i go to the setup tab the only options i have is "Email Setup" which enables me to change the email address. There's also options to "Reset data" and "Download data". There's no option to change the form title.

Hi John,

Good point. It looks like we have some tweaking to do. In the meantime, if you go to the 'Set Up' tab when editing the form, change the 'Form Title' and save. This will now provide your emails with a distinctive form name plus your website address.

So, if you change the Form Title, your emails will arrive with [Your_Form_Title] submission from [Your_Website_Title].

Hope that helps.

Hi Guys,

Just want to say congratulations on the latest release, been with Sitmaker for quite some years now and this has definately got to be my favourite.

Only thing that might need changed would be the Subject Header in the Form widget, when I sent a test message out it shows in the email as follows: 'Form submission from ['My Website Title'] - [contact] - [Advanced Form (NEW!) 1]'

Even if you could remove the Advanced Form (NEW!) 1 or change it to something like Contact Form etc.

Only a slight issue but as I said well done guys.

Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year.

Dale: The sitemap is generated with the URL used to access it. So if you access it with yoursite.moonfruit.com, all the urls will have the yoursite.moonfruit.com domain; if you access it with yourdomain.co.uk then they'll have yourdomain.co.uk.

This is a very cool release- good job guys. The updated form is VERY impressive, some very useful features in there. If only you had the time to bring all your widgets up to this very high standard. Please please please can you sort out the news widget next.....it desperately needs an update.

One question regarding the new form - how do I change the title of the email that gets sent to me?

Just a thought, any chance that you might consider creating multiple versions of our sitemaps...

#1: Sitemap urls use: http://sitename.moonfruit.com/...
#3: Sitemap urls use: http://www.ourowndomain2.co.uk/...
#4: Sitemap urls use: http://www.ourowndomain3.co.uk/...

In the meantime I will attempt to get round the problem by using Google Webmaster Cross Domain feature... I'll keep the lounge posted on my success

once again, thanks for listening moonfruit!
