Hi Terry,

We're glad to hear that your site is on the way to being listed now. Don't worry about the complaints - you've every right to express frustration, and we usually try to take any criticism on board.

HTH,

Dear Moonfruit,
It is with great humility and and relief that I write this.
Following a number of rather scathing complaints from me to Moonfruit regarding my web page not appearing on Google and having to start to pay for the pleasure of the frustration I received some information and advice from Moonfruit and implemented suggested changes.

Good job …..... or should I say …. Great Job Moonfruit....... Believe the Hype …. It Works …...

Many thanks

Terry Beckham, Goals CIC

Ps,.... Sorry for sending in the complaint.

Hi Terry,

I'm just following up on Gary's reply. We check our Support system and we found two tickets. One we replied to within hours (#130594) providing details on how SEO works.

The other ticket we note is your complaint about lack of support/response to your queries and one of my team has responded to that. I'm not sure what other requests you are referring to (we searched our system using your email address and username) and we only found the first query dated Oct 6. And the one from last night. If you've used another address then I'll be happy to investigate as want to ensure all customers get timely and appropriate responses.

Lastly, it does looks as though your domain and site [ http://www.goalscic.co.uk/ ] are working correctly.

If you can explain to Antoine through the ticket the exact nature of your complaint then we'll be happy to assist.

Thanks

Hi Terry,

I'm sorry to hear that you have had trouble getting your site working, but I am surprised that you have not heard back from Support. Can you let me know your username, or any of the ticket numbers that have been raised?

Thanks,

Spent a long time getting the site just the way I want it even though its a very basic site.
Bought a domain name as suggested .
Pay for the pleasure of putting it all together …..... and it doesn’t work.
Pay for support that doesn’t reply despite a number of requests and complaints.
Save your time and money and DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE.......

Hi Sarah,

Is the jump seen while editing, or while viewing too?
Do you see the jump when using the browser's back button or only when you navigate back using the site menu?

Hi Walt, The page jump happens on all of my moonfruit sites, I have over 35 sites and have noticed it on other peoples sites too. I have checked the page length is the same on each page, and the homepage is the same as the site settings.
It is only a small movement which doesn't bother me so much but just wondered if it could be removed, if not don't worry I will just hide the page on the menu.
Thanks again
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

You haven't given us much information to go on to check your site. Normally the only reason a screen jumps (horizontally) is if the pages on your site are of different lengths, where one fits inside the browser the other is longer.

Browsers automatically detect the page size and if longer than the browser view will add a scroll bar on the side. So if you make all pages, including the home page the same size you should not see any horizontal jumping of your site.

But without more detail from you...this is just an educated guess.

Hi, I love moonfruit it is the best but everytime I am on my sites and navigate back to the homepage the whole page jumps slightly. Is this a fault with the software or is there any way I can get rid of it because I want to build sites for other people.
Thanks very much.
