Four years ago Joe (Moonfruit's CEO) created a fictional website (http://www.joeslondontaxis.com/) to illustrate a point about SEO. In June of 2007 we measured the success of these sites on the Search Engine Result Pages for three of the biggest search engines at the time (including the original MSN which is now Bing). And today, with no editing of this site for almost 4 years it still ranks as highly as ever. See our most recent search today with the keywords and ranking on each of the major three engines:

On Google: "West London Taxi" - number 1, "Joes London Taxis" - number 1
On Yahoo!: "West London Taxi" - number 2, "Joes London Taxis" - number 1
On Bing: "West London Taxi" - number 1, "Joes London Taxis" - number 1

Hi Alan,
its usually better getting the links manually I find, as its not the amount of links its the quality, a few good links from sites with related content that have a good Page Rank or are already a well established site are far better than 100's of meaningless links, web seo's generally only use masses of weak links to cover their tracks, to make it more difficult for competitors to analyse the site. One site we analysed had 49,000 back links, most of them useless, but as you can imagine it made it very difficult to pick out the good ones!

Also, is there any way that I can incorporate HTML for a property feed, within the flash page. The HTML widget does not work :(

I am just finishing off our website and need some help from one of you pro's.

Basically, I cannot find an automatic link software that will build links for me. All there seems to be is a manual links page.

Any help greatle appreciated.

Warren - you can't seriously call yourself a web designer? Your own website is poor - there are no links to your portfolio and when you google your alleged clients they are nowhere to be found - do us all a favour and leave the web design to the big boys!

Can you have a music player that not just plays accross the site, but pauses play automatically when clients listen to certain video content with sound on various pages, and begins again when that video ends, and they carry on through your site.

Loving moonfruit, whenever i think that your site design is limiting my business potential you also come with new features to change my mind, it means i always feel comfortable in knowing things are just gona keep getting better with you.

The user features will be amazing, but i still want to see a few basic covered like a new music player with random and loop features, but i trust that is also in the pipline.

I hope you continue to be as productive and succesful in 2009

Moonfruit events wishlist -
I think Moonfruit should come up with some events to host like best of Moonfruit design or even perhaps the best forum (ofcourse you should have gold, bronze and silver awards), oh and it does not mean dishing out money just some site owners would be proud of displaying awards on their sites.

I can't wait for the new e-commerce features.
