Thank you. I have previously replied to ticket numbered e.mails without problem on another occassion. Perhaps your e.mails with ticket numbers should contain a large banner saying that replies via e.mail cannot now be accepted.

In any event I certainly never received the initial answer to my query. I have now, so thank you once again.

Hi Jon,

We did in deed reply to your very first query Ticket #: 2009050901000626. Our reply was dated 05/11/2009 15:51:04. I've checked our system and your two subsequent contacts did not come through our ticketing system, you contacted us direct and your emails got caught by our spam filter. The query form must always be used as we insert a key to ensure it is not spam. While you did get a ticket number for the last two (that is a bug I will look into) I can see you did not get a response back - as it was treated as spam.

So, what I can do is resend the original reply to you. But for brevity, answer is supplied below:
"Yes. Set up a new account, pay for the account, get back to us with both account usernames and the full url of the site you wish to transfer and we will take care of that for you."

Hope that helps.

Hmmmm. Query outstanding from Moonfruit support for some time now despite 2 reminders. Moonfruit promised a reply 24 hrs from 9th May and gave me a ticket number. Still nothing. Not happy. I only want to give them more money!

Can anyone recommend another web package company as Moonfruit clearly don't want my business?

New login/register processes
Create site Admins with full edit rights

I am waiting to see what these two items will involve; having just hit 75 I am very concerned to be sure that someone, probably in my family, will be able to continue operating and paying for my sites when I can no longer do so due to incapacity or death! At the moment I do not know how to ensure that, so I hope some set-up for collaborative administration of an account is in there somewhere.
I wait to be reassured

Since this thread has taken a hard right turn from the original post (was it designed to sell some kind of British candy, or just pump up the Moonfruit staffers?), I'll say that I have been using MF for a couple of years now and, for the most part, have enjoyed the process.

Major concerns, in addition to the e-commerce comments, are SEO and not giving up too much for not being able to use HTML. I am a non-webbineezer type, and enjoy tinkering, but need to get more traffic driven to my site. So that is my 2 cents worth.

Signing up to Moonfruit about 3 years ago and within a month upgraded to Max and I have seen my productivity soar to areas that I never thought possible. When you strip away all the add-ons and features and get down to the nitty gritty these guys have ALWAYS PERFORMED and the direction and pace of their development and customer support is clearly second to none. I used to get embroiled in code and waste so much time pouring over syntax errors and all sorts of bugs but now I can be more creative and know that I won't have to spend a weekend trying to nest tables or other such nonsense so that the site looks less like a prompt box and more like a fluid user interaction experience... well done guys and keep up the good work!

You Know, every time I tell someone that I have now 99 sites built on Moonfruit and one store site somewhere else and live in US, did a TV ad for GoDaddy few years back as the first customer spokesperson but choose Moonfruit and a company with servers in UK, often they say WHAT?

Moonfruit is and has been a lot of fun and I have made a few bucks with my hobby of building little portals using some of the of the domains I own and getting a few bucks from Google Ads, building my own product sites for Bikini Joe, Legal Beach and H2ohSwim etc plus I have built a few sites for others and enjoyed every one.

NOW!! If a real good FLASH Sitebuilder with a Shopping cart happens..it will be the first in my opinion and must be the best and not just a bunch of hard to shop, hard to show product that just has a lot of "Flash Effects" but falls off the cliff when it comes to making selling work like most good html sites that the world has gotten used to using and the standard now. So, MoonFruities, get it GOOD, Get it right and I will be the first to use and scream with joy!

Thanks for all the comments although this wasn't exactly the thread for talking about new releases.

The Business team always want features, widgets and upgrades out as quickly as possible with all the bells and whistles. Development usually want to ensure they can deliver, within spec, on time and with maximum quality. Support - well they fall somewhere in the middle, although they probably lean towards development, with emphasis on quality...less bugs, less issues to deal with!

So far as Membership is concerned and balancing the needs of Business, Development and Support, we aim to have something out by the end of March. This will be the first phase with other features to follow. This is our aim, but we would rather not set a firm date as we would rather deliver you a quality feature that works first time, than deliver a timely one. We obviously care about providing our customers with good features and widgets as quickly as possible but the quality, the testing and usability of them is of great importance to us. We'd rather you have less headaches with our new features...so we have less our selves ;-)

The Dev team are motoring along nicely at present. We'll certainly keep you posted.

Thanks - Walt

This seems to have digressed on to a 'wishlist' of some sort - so...

...most importantly for me - the eventual/possible option to backup our sites locally. I understand this to be much easier said than done, of course.
