Missing Forum on moonfruit.com - back now

It's back now! Thanks. --- We are currently doing some work on the Moonfruit Forum so it will be out of action for a short while. This is unrelated to the scheduled maintenance we had earlier this morning. But worry not, we will have a forum back online very soon.

Upgrading to the new forum?
Now that would be tellin' wouldn't it!
Well actually, yes. We are trying to convert it at present and the sheer size of our old forum is proving a challenge. But we're confident we can port it across with all the old posts plus the new functionality. We are aiming to have it available early next week, although with luck we may have it up earlier.
This has, unfortunately, had an impact on the old forum but I'm sure once we get the new one up all our forum visitors will think the wait was worth it ;-)
Keep your fingers crossed and we may have it up and running sooner than expected.
Walt
And as if by magic... we have just given birth to a bouncing baby forum. Our new addition also sports better navigation and a search that works!
Enjoy!!!
New forum looks good and very easy to navigate too
Do you plan to continue with the mod feature too because if i can remember after you replied to a message it would be checked before being approved for also what about duplicate posts too
Other than that Moonfruit does exactly what it says on the tin being a site leader for just over a year now i am still impressed by what moonfruit has to offer well done
Interesting as i can't get into Forum anymore. In Int Expl I get 'page not available' and in Firefox it just sits there with a quarter of the mid screen bit. So I'm here at the library where I got a screen telling me I need an RSS feed. Is that it?
I like the new forum. I have a suggestion for future releases though. When you click ok when posting a message, it sometimes hangs. Twice now I thought it hadnt registed my click so I have pressed ok again and ended up with a double post. Could we have a message or even block out the ok button so we know its going through? Minor niggle I know but thought I would add it to your list for further releases.
Hi Mark, yes we're looking at that. Not sure why it's taking so long. I don't think it hangs, just takes a while to register. We've got it as a bug. Thanks, Joe
I have a question!
Will there be an option to choose the 'Subject' order as it currently just set to when the 'subjects' were created, ie oldest first. Being able to choose there order would be a minor but useful addition. Is this in the pipeline?
I really want to be able to allow visitors to upload and send pictures to me via email. Do you have any applications/widgets to make this possible? xxx
